The Department of Orthopaedics, Maulana Azad Medical College, is pleased to announce the
dates for the 11th Post Graduate Instructional Course from the 2nd (Wednesday) to 5th (Saturday),
September 2009.
As in the previous years, we determine to maintain a high level of academic excellence specially
geared towards candidates appearing for the final post graduate MS (Orth.), DNB (Orth.) and
D.Orth examinations.
The four day course includes specially selected topics of theory lectures in the pre-lunch session.
The afternoon session will be devoted to demonstration of long cases (of hip and spine) by expert
examiners and an opportunity for post graduate students to present long and short cases to
seasoned examiners. Topics of Viva-Voce will be covered by presentation and discussion on
instruments, radiographs, orthosis and prosthesis and ward rounds as per the examination pattern.
Delegates are requested to make their own arrangement for stay. Lunch (veg and non veg), snacks,
tea and coffee would be provided during the course.
The fee for the 4 day course is Rs 2000/- till 25th August, Rs.2500/- 26th to 31st August and Rs.
3000/- from 1st September, 2009 and spot registration, subject to availability.
