WORKSHOPS

  1. Current Trend in Auditory Research” under the aegis of Indian Acedmy of Neuro Sciences was organized by Department of Anatomy at MAMC on 21st and 22nd September, 2007 Dr J M Kaul was the Organising Chairperson, Dr Sabita Mishra was the Organising Secretary and all rest of the faculty were members of the Organising Committee.
  2. 3 workshops were organized by Dr J M Kaul as joint collaboration between Anatomy and ENT in oto-rhino-laryngology lab to demonstrate and hands on for dissection of microsurgery of ear including cochlear implant this is an ongoing project (March , August and Dec 2007).
  3. Dr J M Kaul organized a workshop on sinus endoscopic surgery on cadavers with department of ENT and Dr Sood nasal research foundation in Dec. 2007

  1. Dr. Shipra Paul, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Dr. Anita Mahajan and Dr. Ranjana Verma attended the 55th National Conference of Anatomical Society of India held in Mumbai from 27th –29th Dec. 2007. All members presented papers.
  2. Dr. Sabita Mishra attended the annual conference of the Indian Academy of Neuro Sciences in Dec. 2007 at Banaras Hindu University.
  3. Dr. Dinesh Kumar attended Workshop on Cadaver Donation Process at AIIMS on 10.2.2007.
  4. Dr. Dinesh Kumar attended a workshop on Evaluation Techniques for Medical Teachers in the Department of Medical Education MAMC from 5th to 7th Feb.2007.
  5. Dr. Ranjana Verma attended the 59th National Teachers Training Course on Educational Science Technology in the Department of Medical Education, MAMC from 12th to 23rd March, 2007.
Significant Events (Honours to Faculty)

Dr. JM Kaul was requested to assist Bhutan Medical College and Health Council in performing various health related activities by Govt. of India as a WHO assignment from 21st to 30th Nov. 2007.

Dr J M Kaul was a guest speaker at the following
  1. Dr. JM Kaul delivered a lecture on Application of knowledge of temporal bone in teaching and learning anatomy at the symposium on “Current Trends in Auditory Research” at MAMC New Delhi held on 21st and 22nd Sept. 2007.
  2. Dr J M Kaul was the Moderator for the Panel discussion on role of basic sciences in clinical practice “Current Trends in Auditory Research” at MAMC New Delhi held on 21st and 22nd Sept. 2007.
  3. Dr J M Kaul was invited to delivered a talk for CME programme on Neuroanatomy teaching at Chadigarh Medical College on 13th and 14th of Oct. 2007
  4. Surgical anatomy “Lateral wall of the nose” at the 16th National endoscopic sinus surgery course in 2007.
  5. Resource person for temporal bone workshops for “The surgical anatomy of Temporal bone” as an ongoing exercise.
  6. Dr Shipra Paul chaired a session on “Current Trends in Auditory Research” at MAMC New Delhi held on 21st and 22nd Sept. 2007.
  7. Dr Shipra Paul chaired two sessions at the 55th National Conference of Anatomical Society of India held in Mumbai from 27th – 29th Dec. 2007 She chaired a plenary session on 67 slice volume computed tomography.
  8. Dr. Sabita Mishra was a guest faculty speaker for Occupational therapy on Anthropometry
  9. Dr. Sabita Mishra was invited to deliever a Faculty Lecture on development of human cochlea and cochlear nucleus by the Indian Society of Speech and Hearing Association at NIMHANS Bangalore
  10. Dr Sabita Mishra delivered a lecture on Morphological maturation of cochlear nucleus in prenatal period in the symposium Current Trend in Auditory Research at MAMC New Delhi on 21st and 22nd Sept. 2007.
